WHAT WE DO
We supply 100% organic meatballs, beefburgers, and diced beef to local schools.
We make our products at Lower Hurst Farm, Hartington, Derbyshire. Lower Hurst Farm is a fully organic farm and it provides some of the meat we use to make our products. Because of the quantity required to feed all the primary school children across the region we need to buy more organic meat from other organic farms. We do this through a company called ABP based in Ellesmere, in neighbouring Cheshire, who give us the extra meat we need and a list of the organic farms who have supplied it.
Our diced beef is 100% pure lean beef. The meatballs and beefburgers are made by mincing beef in our state of the art plant on the farm where the other organic ingredients are added. For the meatballs these are breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, basil, salt, pepper and water, and for the burgers they are onion, parsley, salt and pepper. The meat balls and beefburgers are then made by a machine and frozen before being sent off to schools.
